    Potentially stolen Euphonium

While moving to Yokota, the moving crew stole quite a few things, which I believe Includes and Andreas-Eastman Student Euphonium, which was a very nice Euphonium for me, and I would like to get it back, but I don't know where to start, other than checking E bay in the Ohio area, any tips? As it turns out, my Euphonium was just a few months late, and now has safely arrived, so thank you for your help!

Maybe reverb.com and craigslist for that area.

What a sucky thing to do, to steal someone's instrument....

In any case, do you have the serial number and pictures of it? If so, post them here. Maybe it will turn up or someone will see it out there in the wild. Stranger things have happened. And it is why forums like this often have a thread for stolen instruments.

Do you have any insurance that will cover your losses (not just the horn)? In the mean time, I will keep my hopes up for you.

I'd report the thefts to the police at the origin and destination of the move. If this was a military move file the loss with the destination moving office on base (especially if it had an inventory tag). You'll have to do some legwork to come up with a value, but if it's a military move, some reimbursement might come your way.

Some further details: It was an EEP-321 with assorted mouthpieces, and the bell was bent back slightly on the side that goes the direction of the rest of the Euphonium, and it also had a black bell cover, I am currently trying to find photos of it, as well as my paper with its ID on it, the case may also have a tag from Rettig Music on one of the handles

Ushanka - Sounds like a classic case of "Better late than never," and "All's well that ends well." Sorry to be cliche, but they are what fits best here I think.

So did the other personal goods that were "missing" arrive too?

Thanks for the update and we are all happy for you.

Most made it, however, some did not unfortunately, as for being cliche, its fine, cliches are cliches only because they are good descriptors.
